Sandia National Laboratory’s Z-Machine – largest X-Ray source on earth

TEAM provides diagnostic design, manufacturing support and target hardware for Sandia National Laboratory’s Z-Pinch Program (shown above) and has done so since we started in 1985. This stadium-sized machine produces temperatures at its center 400 times hotter than the surface of the sun.
